      Shimura Shinpachi, one of the three main characters from Gintama.

        I haven’t got into the series yet (since I have a list of anime to watch first) but is it a “meme” that he gets so little screen time that you only see his glasses or hear his voice?

          No he gets a lot of screen time, he’s just prob too weak to appear in the game and usually just throws the punchlines. And yeah there are jokes now and then that his glasses are the most important part of him and the rest is just garbage

                The Japanese manga is superior though because they keep all of the cursing (and they curse a lot) and more jokes. I watched the anime first and I loved it I’d probably watch the anime since it’s rough trying to read the old Bobobo manga chapters.

          should really watch it it’s brilliant, you can also just watch it a couple eps at a time in between shows like I do sometimes you won’t regret it

            Of course I can’t wait to start it. I seen some snippets and I laughed pretty hard at the DBZ and Bleach references.

          you better watch gintama first.. it was a good series.. maybe in the first or 2nd episode is a bit boring.. but its getting interesting as the story goes.. most of it are funny scene but sometimes there are drama and action with 100% epic 😀

          Lol no it’s a recurring joke that all there is to Shinpachi’s character is his glasses. It’s awesome how the game demonstrates this fact!

    Probably heard this a lot already but really appreciate all the hard work you guys are putting into this. You guys really make it possible for all the fans to enjoy this game to the fullest even without knowing japanese.

      No problem. It is a lot of work behind the scenes to the point where it seems like we aren’t posting much. But we try to get things out there as fast and professional (in terms of quality) as possible.
