    Namikawa Daisuke is the seiyuu… so pretty sure Momoshiki is a male. Aside from that one minor problem, thanks for the update!

      He’s also dressed like a Heian era nobleman. Shinto priests still wear similar clothing to this day.

    I don’t like how these people r just popping up…it’s like where were they during this whole series..lol maybe I’m nitpicking but it feels cheap like kaguya…anyways I’ll wait and c how they try to tie them in

    • Well the most popular theory is that Kaguya is an alien from outer space who arrived on earth.

      Same goes for Toneri and the other members of the clan. They all seem to be part of a different race than Humans.

        Ya I understand that theory and I accept it..but u have to admit it feels asspullish.plus the 6path sages brother didn’t get fleshed out..IDE rather maybe sme back story on him and maybe his descendants would have been a better antagonist.just my opinion though

    The villains are getting a little unoriginal. More Ōtsutsuki clan members and eye transplanters. Every villain has to have some dojutsu. These guys are probably the last villains, so I hoped they could be different.

      I understand what you mean but you have to realize their isn’t anyone out their who have the potential to surpass Naruto and Sasuke only an Otsutsuki.

    Nothing so far has labeled them as Otsutsuki Clansmen. They could just as easily be from Kaguya’s homeworld.

    • The theming here is that each of these enemies is a remnant of the Otsutsuki clan.

      Every Otsutsuki member that we’ve seen has the same themes/motifs, and these two are carrying out some of Kaguya/Madara’s will.

      Doesn’t need to be spelled out any further.

        That’s still just an assumption. None of the articles have given them surnames or related them to the clan — unlike Toneri, who was revealed not just as Otsutsuki Toneri, but as the last surviving Otsutsuki. The name “Otsutsuki” doesn’t appear anywhere on this scan.

        If these are the foes Sasuke warned the Gokage about in Gaiden, they’d actually be Kaguya’s enemies, not her allies or descendants. To me, that would make more sense if they were from a rival clan on her homeworld. Same species (Byakugan, horns, etc.), different clan.

        Obviously this is also speculation, but it’s just as valid (if not moreso) based on currently available information.

          If we’re talking about theories, then it’s still possible that these are the ones who Sasuke warned the Gokage about. It would make sense for 2 different sects of 1 clan to oppose each other to deem who’s more superior, so if this was the case then they would be both Otsutsuki AND Kaguya’s enemies.

    Black Zetsu wasted how many years setting up Madara, Obito, & Nagato, when he should of just went straight to these Otsutsuki clansmen.
