    Hoping for some help about the game, I’ve been playing it since yesterday and I’ve hit a bit of wall. I can’t seem to figure out one of the battle conditions, particularly on two separate quests. One involving Uub at King Kai’s place and another involving Raditz. I keep failing it for some reason, can someone tell me what the condition for winning. Also I need to increase the cap for the cap for the energies but I assume they increase through the quests as I need to get into the Cell Games Arena for the story.

      you have to hit 3 saibaimen with a kamehameha

      (and i am stuck too because of the energy cap that wont increase)

        You have to defeat the last energy enemy with a full throttle attack (or all out attack whatever you want to call it). So that you unlock the enemy and increase how much energy you can carry.

      Most missions you have to kill them all at the same time (like for Tien and Chiaotzu). What I would do is use the Gorus QR since he has a strong 10x Kame and Destruction Ball.

      The Uub one I still can’t figure out it says “Use an attack from a a fancy type character シャレ系” which I’m not so sure what that means if you eventually figure out what to do let me know because Zarbon’s mission is the same thing as well.

        you have to use a certain attack I guess (just like the zarbon quest that needs you to use Quick Rush 3 times)

                There was a generic Saiyan with a face like Nappa’s and a black mohawk in white armor I recruited on the fifth map that had it. So far he’s the only character on my entire roster that has it.

                I don’t have a clue why people are saying Yamcha has it.

    Thanks for the translations. I’ve been playing this without knowing much of what it says but I am stuck now. I can’t get past the place where you fight Broly because I can’t seem to get my yellow energy max to go up. It’s at 150 and I have recruited enemies by fighting the ones with yellow energy icons beside them on the overworld but it isn’t going up anymore for some reason. Please help!

      Are you recruiting the leader? IIRC you have to recruit the leader of the enemy team to get the right color energy. I could be wrong though.

        I tried it with both a normal enemy and the leader a couple times. I think I’ve raised it by recruiting a non-leader enemy before though, because I usually don’t and all my max energies are higher than 500. I don’t know exactly what was happening, but it might have been a bug or something I couldn’t understand due to not knowing much Japanese at all. I went back to the second place, fought Cooler, and after I beat him my max energy started going up again. It was weird. Whatever it was, I’m past it now. I made it to the sixth place and I hopefully won’t have another weird issue like that. Thanks for replying though?

          I’ve recruited a lot since then, and its not only you. But whenever you recruit an actual DB character, the cap does increase, usually. You’ll need to max out all of your energy caps to get to the last area, so good luck.

            Is there an area past the 7th one or are you talking about maxing the energy caps to get to the area on the 5th one, with the tournament stage? P.S. I beat the game and saw the ending credits already, just want to know what you mean by last area, because I still haven’t maxed out yellow and green energy yet.

            Normal Cooler is below the Kame House, but he is protected by an Energy barrier. The cooler I was talking about is actually Metal Cooler and he was flying around the Namek islands in the second place.

    Does anyone know what Shenron’s wishes are? I just got all the Dragon Balls and I summoned him but I don’t want to choose a wish until I know what it is. I saved right before I summoned him so I guess I could just pick one and see what happens, then close the game if I don’t like the result, but that could take some time lol.

      I’m trying to figure out how to increase my yellow energy cap from 50. The last big thing I did was defeat cell, now it wants me to go to the next area o.o
      P.S. somewhere below the kamehouse lies final form cooler in a very pricey barrier o.o

        Recruit characters by finishing the last one in an enemy team with a Full Throttle attack. The corresponding energy cap SHOULD increase. Sometimes it doesn’t though, so just keep trying until it does.

    stuck on submission 5 (beat Zarbon and his two party members) i cant read Japanese, my only clue is 3.. if i beat them, i lose… if i beat all three at the same time, i lose (Though, i havn’t tried knocking out all a same time, or Ring-out all 3 at the same time. (Also, win in 3 turns doesn’t seem to work either) :/ plz help. … Also, how do i increase my green tokens (Or the others for that matter?)

      You need to knokout an opponent (the opponent with a little star bellow he lifebar) with the third person special attack (The special attack bellow the maxi-fusion attack)

          No, the Uub encounter requires a different move all together. It’s some kind of shout debuff. I never got the ability until the fifth map of the story where some weird generic saiyan with a white mohawk had it.

      You have to go through the other places to get all 7 dragonballs if you haven’t done that yet. There will be bosses guarding them so you have to fight them to get the dragonballs.

          Well, I did it three days ago and have been playing it non stop so I don’t remember exactly, but I think I had to do a battle on the map before some appeared and there might be an order to them too. Then again, some maps had two Dragon Balls so, and don’t hold me to this because I’m not sure about it myself, there might not be one in area 5 at all in the first place. Push comes to shove, you can find out where they all are exactly by watching the gameplay that ShonenGamez have on their youtube because they would have shown where all the dragon balls were.

              I haven’t watched the walkthrough since I was playing it at the same time, but since it was part of the story, it should be in one of the last walkthrough videos. Then again, they might be at different locations. Did you try doing a battle in each place and then looking around. YOu might have to get the first one for the second one to appear in the areas that there are more than one.

      Capsule Corp ship. There is a place there where you can make Fusions.

        Keep recruiting. Its the only way. It may take time, but trust me, you’ll get there.

            You can’t really buy it its just luck of the draw. ATM all I know who has it is SSGSS Goku, Pikkon, Bardock, and Vegito.

                You’ll know it when you see it. Again, it costs 1 ki to use, its a melee attack, and has EX at the end of its name. If your characters don’t have it now, they can learn it later. Just keep fighting enemies until you see it as a learnable move at the end of the match.

    Does anyone know where you unlock Goku and Vegeta? It kind of blows my mind I’m nearly done with the story and I’ve yet to get either of them. And also does anyone here understand how Super Saiyan works? I’ve only unlocked Super Saiyan Goten and Trunks so far but they seem to not be able to fuse as Super Saiyans? Is that normal or is there something I’m maybe overlooking?

      Base Goku and Vegeta idk how to get and I’ve beaten the story. However, I do know you can recruit SS Goku through an S Rank Space-Time distortion in World 1 (the blue dots on the map that you can open).

      And no, you can’t EX Fuse SS Goten and Trunks (which is stupid, I know). You can, however, use the Fusion Dance with them in battle though to make SS Gotenks or SS3 Gotenks. You can also EX Fuse with one of them yourself after you have fused with their base forms.

      Also apparently you can get SS3 Goku there too.

      I found Goku! He’s at World 3 and you get him from an S-Rank distortion.
      Most of the characters you get there seem to be Saiyans, so Vegeta is probably there too.

      There are apparently multiple versions of Goku and SS Goku that you recruit. Both have different outfits.

      Recruit characters whose energy is the same as what you want. It will SOMETIMES increase the cap. Just keep doing it until it does.

        Trunks and Goten (obvious)
        Goku Chibi (without Z)
        Krillin
        Tenshihan and Chaoz
        Pan
        A human girl than look how C18 but with gray hair and a kunfu purple suit.
        I am only in third floor.
        And i found Yamcha Uub Bra and Teen Gohan but nothing.

          Defeat them with a Full Throttle attack (which you use as the green meter fills up and select the option after Maxi-Fusion). Most of the characters you mentioned automatically join you throughout the story. Some characters can only be recruited by doing certain missions. You’ll know if you can recruit a character in a battle if there is a star next to their picture on the touch screen.

      I think you have to do a different one to recruit him.

    Has anyone found Super Saiyan 1 Future Trunks? Not base, not Super Saiyan 3. I have been hunting him down for countless hours now and I’m not having any luck at all. Starting to wonder if he’s a post-game only character.

        Supposedly he’s in Map 5 but I’ve been here for over five hours now. Five. Hours. I’ve found Super Saiyan 3 Kid Goku I’ve found Majuub I’ve found Nouva Shenron I’ve found regular Gohan I’ve found entire Kid Buu armies all of them multiple times but not the regular Super Saiyan even once.

        Incidentally Mr. Satan is also supposed to be here and I haven’t run into him either oddly enough. I’m just wondering if there’s some sort of prerequisite I haven’t triggered yet for some encounters to even appear in rifts.

          Mr. Satan is one of the enemies with the crown on the map.

          Also I wouldn’t think Trunks would be there… I’d expect him in World 3.

            I figured it out. There’s a sidequest in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber where you have to face Goku and Vegeta in a series of fights as they go through all their Super Saiyan forms. As soon as I went back to Map 5 after doing that sidequest all the Super Saiyans started appearing in S Rifts.

            That’s the trigger. It absolutely has to be. I finally got him.

                Most of the characters have some sort of requirement before you can recruit them with a beatdown. Its usually sidequest related or finding one of those story illustrations from a rift. Like how I finally got the Super Saiyans to start appearing in the rifts, even though they’re appearing Super Vegito is still not displaying a recruitment star but SSJ Future Trunks and SSJ Vegeta did.

                    Well for one thing you can’t EX Fuse SS Goten and Trunks together. If you want to fuse with them yourself, you need to fuse with their base forms first.

              Uhh are you sure? I was able to get A BUNCH of Super Saiyans before I did that quest…

                I was able to find plenty of Super Saiyan 3s prior to doing it but not a single regular Super Saiyan appeared until I got that done. I do not believe in coincidences and I do not believe after hours of grinding that my RNG luck was that bad.

      SSB Goku was a Day One bonus (the code would have come with the game), or you can get him from an G Class portal in World 1

      Cooler is in a barrier in World 3 under the Kame House

      SS3 Goku is in an S Class portal win World 1

      IDK about the rest.

      I am looking for him too. Did you find ssgss vegeta and brolly? i am stuck at world 6 the mission where cell and frieza fusion disappears into another dimension

        SSB Vegeta is in a G Class Portal in World 1. I think he can be found in World 7 too.

        I don’t know for sure, but I can only assume Broly can be found in a portal in World 3 since you fought him there and its supposed to be the Saiyan homeworld so it kinda fits. Try S Class portals there.

          A handful of characters have it, including Yamcha. Its basically luck of the draw.

              There’s a side quest in level 3 to recruit him. It’s not the first time you see Yamcha, though. The one for recruiting him is found in the Cell Games arena.

            It’s pretty frustrating. I have been using EX Tiencha (who I know can also learn this move) for a long time now and not a single time has this attack dropped.

    I have a problem , it’s that I can’t have the rift with Gine and so I can’t have her quest and recruit her
    I finishied the game and have the quest from Towa which need Gine to fuse
    I recruit Bardock and Ssj Bardock
    I don’t know what to do, maybe I have to unlock the illustration from Baddack story but I don’t know where it is

    I finded SS Teen Gohan in a portal but he dont has the star for recruit it… that mean i lost it?

      No. He’s in the World 4. I found him several times. Also after recruited.
      I think you need to have Teen Gohan Base to recruit the SSJ version.
      You find Teen Gohan in Satan City. Accept the Quest.
      Now in World 2 you need to find Metal Cooler then defeat him.
      Complete the Quest and Teen Gohan will join you

      You don’t always 100% capture.

        Indeed. It almost always does for me though. It didn’t happen only once or twice, so I feel like the chances are pretty decent.

      Which Goku? Be more specific, because there are:

      Goku (Z) – Base, SS, SS3
      Goku (Super) – Base, SS, SS3, SSB
      Goku (GT) – Base, SS, SS3, SS4

      I also heard a rumor that SSG Goku is in the game but I haven’t seen it.

          Super is in World 4
          GT is in World 5 and 7

          At least, that’s where I found them. There is a good chance that they also appear in other Worlds.

    Just an FYI for Shenron’s Wishes:

    The first gives you a ton of EXP
    The second gives you that attack where you and your teammates charge an enemy
    The third gives you some new outfit
    The fourth gives you a random new character
    The fifth lets you change your avatar’s species, gender, appearance, etc.
    The sixth I have no idea. I think a new mission maybe?

      I think so? There is some sort of Online mode but I haven’t tried it yet.

    I don’t know how to make time rifts to appear. I only encountered a few of them during my playthrough. I completed the game and I only have characters from sidequest and from the history. For example: I already did the universe 6 sidequest so there is supposed to be a few time rifts in world 6. But none will appear. Did I do something wrong? The time rifts are random? They have a trigger? It keeps annoying me to travel ALL the worlds without any of them appearing.

      After you defeat an enemy, a blue dot will appear in the map. Usually close to where the enemy was. If you can see it in the map, hold down X until your character stops charging. The rift will open.

      If you open up 2 rifts at the same time, they will merge into an S Rank rift. If you open 3, a it will be a G Rank rift.

        In terms of yours, I haven’t unlocked him yet either. Its likely you either need a certain “title” (which is basically an achievement), or you need to do a certain side quest first.

      You can only recruit Vegito from a Side Quest in World 6. I think Old Kai gives the quest to you. I think you can recruit Super Vegito afterwards (he’s in an S Rank portal in World 5).

      You can’t recruit Gogeta. You can only use him by doing the Fusion Dance with Goku and Vegeta in battle.

        @brandonmazzola:disqus how did you unlock the fusion dance move? is it the same move for all characters.

          Just have the right characters in your party. An extra move should show up in the list of their special moves. Characters you can make using the Fusion Dance should appear in the Character Glossary after you unlock both of the fusees.

          It usually costs 5 ki (but in the case of SS3 Gotenks I believe it uses up all ki). The Fusion lasts only a few turns, but the result is generally REALLY powerful. The stats are huge and the Fusion has some (I believe) exclusive moves that they can use.

          Story-wise its supposed to be superior to EX-Fusion.

    im stucked in third floor chapter or whatelse… Cell thing… i want beat Goku but i cant and story still happening but i dont want still on because i want win againt Goku… what happen if you win? its same story than if you lose?

      I can’t say I know either way, but the story itself shouldn’t change much.

      I don’t believe you can fight Goku again, but if you wish to prove yourself Vegeta issues a similar yet much more difficult challenge in the post-game. You will also get several changes to fight Goku throughout the story and the post-game, but they will mostly be normal fights and won’t have the same conditions.

      the seven dragon balls are scattered through all areas they appear u just need fly around to see on radar

        By any chance, does anyone of you know how to get SSG Goku ? I know he’s in the seventh area but he just won’t show up in my game. Is there a side quest that we have to complete before unlocking him ?

      Just search every world. Whenever one is nearby, a yellow dot will appear on the map. As you get closer to it, it starts blinking faster.

      Cover ALL ground. You’d be surprised where they can be.

      Reminder that multiple Dragon Balls can appear in one world (I once found 4 in World 6).

          Yeah. You need to find… something. I honestly don’t know what it is, but scattered around World 3 are these shiny things (I think 3 or 4 of them in all). Find them all for Krillin, then you unlock 18.

          I think they are all in the city area. I know at least two of them are.

              You get Beerus and Whis from G portals, but not in World 5. You get them in World 7. Be prepared, they are tougher than the other times you’ve fought them. And pick your battles wisely. There is one enemy team there that has ridiculous stats when compared to the others, so its best to just quit the battle on the spot and find a different one.

              No clue about Missions 10 and 20. Whatever they were, I completed them a long time ago. If you could tell me who gave them to you I may be able to help.

      SS Bardock is World 4.
      SS Goku (GT) is also World 4 (I think).
      Base GT Goku is World 7.

      They are all S Portals.

          Goku (Super) – World 3 (and apparently 4?) S Rank portal.

          Vegeta (Super) – World 3 and 5 S Rank portal.

          SS2 Broly isn’t in the game, but if you meant SS3, I found him at World 5 (I think he’s also at World 4). S Rank portal.

          Adult Gohan – World 4 (pretty sure he’s in others as well) S Rank portal.

          Frieza – World 2. Don’t know which portal, but you can easily find him with Zarbon and Dodoria since they are one of the enemy “bosses” that often appear in the same place in the World.

          Cell – World 3. S Rank I think.

          King Piccolo – World 3. A Rank portal.

          Android 19 – World 3. A Rank portal.

          Dabura – World 6. Also an enemy boss but also can appear in portals.

          Vegeta (Saiyan saga) – World 3 S Rank portal.

          Nappa – World 3 S Rank portal.

          Raditz – World 3 S Rank portal.

              Just keep trying. I think their recruitment rate is lower than usual.

    Help! How I unlock Cell? I beat him, but when I defeat him with a full throttle attack, he don’t join in my team, and he has the star in his bar life. The same thing with Vegeta SSGSS.

      For Cell you need to complete the android 18 and teen gohan side quests . The chance of recruiting Gods are extremely low you have to keep on trying. I defeated ssgss vegeta 3 times and beerus 6 times now still can’t recruit them

          the objects are scattered all around the city. you’ll find one between yellow and white building, the other one is on top of a white building, and the last one is somewhere on the ground

      You need using 2nd green move. It will show up when green power fill to half. Make sure any enemy char have star and use super attack/2nd green move. 1st green is super fusion, 2nd green super attack.

      Use fusion/super fusion to once/1st green move. You need gather all enemy to 1 spot at center battle then use the super fusion. Zarbon trials will passes. Must using pan since need waiting enemy to attack and gathered to center. Pan heals da beast at all.
