The first manga you ever read

Hello all i might as well start things off here. Anyway what was the first manga you ever read? Mine was One Piece i was in a book store one day and the cover for volume 1 looked interesting so i read it and i was hooked then i started expanding into other manga's such as Naruto,Bleach,HunterxHunter etc.

The first manga I ever read was the yugioh manga.

As a kid, I used to like the show really much and one day, I saw there was a comic version of the show (I did not know what manga was back then) and I started reading a random volume to see how it was.

I was surprised at how darker it was from the tv show.

If you can believe it or not(horrible pun, I know), the first manga I read was Naruto. I had been watching on Cartoon Network before, and the episode with Kakashi's mask(Episode 100 I believe) was going to come out. I wanted to figure out what was under his mask so bad that I decided to catch up with the Japanese anime. After catching up I watched the anime until the middle of the Sora arc where I decided to watch and read the series. I tried to find the Sora arc in the manga so I could continue, but then found out it was filler. Not only that, but then I realized I wasted so many hours watching all of the filler after 135 :(. Nevertheless, Naruto was what got me into reading manga, and now I read almost every series which has an anime adaption that I watch.

I've started with many non-mainstream, not even shounen jump manga. Born in China, I bought various Coro Coro manga which had gundam and stuff I have no clue about. My first shonen jump manga series was Black Cat and I absolutely fell in love with the art style which I even kinda adapted just a little, ever since I got more bigger and branched out to many other manga

I read an issue of SJ couple years back, had no clue what was going on, but now I remember, it was around the time Ichigo got his bankai (it had "Bankai Bonanza" on the cover). The first manga volume I've ever read was Naruto at my school's library I believe. Also, yugioh's manga is pretty damn dark, Bakura ripped out Pegasus' eye and licked the blood off~

when part 1 of naruto ended (not including fillers) i really wanted to know if more happened. i didn't know at the time it was based off of a manga like other anime were. did a bit of googling and i found some old manga reading site. it's down now, but i think it was called onemanga or something like that.
