ShonenGameZ Second Anniversary – Thanks For All Your Support!

It’s surprising how time flies. It feels like yesterday when I made an article about our first year anniversary and I’m here today making one for our second anniversary. For those who don’t know, November 3rd, 2013 was when we first launched the website and since then, it has blown up exponentially, and of course, is all thanks to all our beloved readers checking out the website for daily news, scan translations, and gameplay footage.

Initially we started as a YouTube channel, as HystericalGameZ, TheGameTagerZ and myself (GameEmpireHD) wanted to work together. We started out by uploading Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure and Saint Seiya: Brave Soldiers, as well as exclusive videos from NYCC 2013. Due to our exponential channel growth, we decided to expand by creating our own website, which is what you see today. In addition to gameplay footage, we’ve also been covering scan translations, which is what has put us on the map.  Of course, we’ve also done guide translations, starting off with J-Stars Victory VS., which you guys really appreciated.
