Introducing ShonenGames+ | A New Entertainment Channel

For those of you who haven’t been around since the early days, ShonenGames started out as a YouTube channel, and evolved into a website to fit our needs, as well as the needs of our fanbase. We started posting HQ scans with english translations, started covering games that we normally wouldn’t, and now we have a large umbrella of content for you guys to enjoy under the ShonenGames brand, however we (and many of you) feel like we could be doing way more, and we’ve heard the calls and here’s our answer to those concerns.

So what is ShonenGames+, and what is ShonenGames in relation to the new channel. How will the two relate to each other? Well easy. ShonenGames+ is the logical next step in our question to provide amazing content for the fans, while not alienating the fans who’re just around for one certain type of coverage.

You see, one of the the founding principles of the original ShonenGames YouTube page was to makes it so that we only uploaded gameplay and walkthroughs in a quick but almost silent manner. It wasn’t meant to be a channel with any commentary or special content, just the games that you love and the walkthroughs that you can’t miss.

All of that is great, but where does it leave the fans who want to see entertaining streams and videos? What does it do for the fans that want our opinions on different anime and manga? What does it do for the other fans, the ones that aren’t just around to watch a walkthrough, and have been invested in each member of the Shonen team since our humble beginnings? Well, we’ve created a place just for them with ShonenGames+.

This is truly going to be an idea that’ll only work with the support of our most loyal fans, so we hope ShonenGames+ will begin to be, and continue to be, a channel built by the fans, for the fans!

To start off the new channel, HGZ from our Shonen team has done a few anime reviews! Check them out for a good look at what to expect!
